DIRECTIONS TO THE RESORT

FROM SAN BERNARDINO, RIVERSIDE, ORANGE COUNTY, LA, VENTURA - Hwys. 10, 210, 330, 18
(33 miles of mountain driving to the Big Bear Dam)

Take I-10 East ( a few miles East of the 215) to Highway 210 Highland / 330 Running Springs & Mountain Resorts.  Stay on the 210 to Hwy. 330 Mountain Resorts (North).  Hwy 330 will turn into Hwy.18 in Running Springs. Continue up hill toward Big Bear (about 35 minutes to Big Bear Dam). At the Dam you’ll see Hwy. 18 continues over the Dam into Big Bear Lake & the Village area. Hwy. 38 (straight ahead) takes you to Fawnskin (on the North side of the lake).  We are in Fawnskin.  Drive around the lake, through Fawnskin on Hwy. 38.  About 1½ miles past Fawnskin, you will see a sign “Boat Rentals” to the right. This is North Shore Lane.  Turn right on North Shore Lane. We are located approximately ½ of a mile on the right. Enter Resort at the twin waterfalls.

 

FROM REDLANDS, YUCAIPA, PALM SPRINGS - Hwy. 38
(50 miles of mountain driving, easiest drive & scenic route)

Take I-10 West. Exit at Orange St./Downtown (Hwy 38).  Turn right (North) on Orange Street to signal light – Lugonia. Turn right on Lugonia.  Lugonia becomes Hwy. 38. Stay on 38 East, through Mentone to the split. Veer to the left at the Forest Falls sign and start up mountain. Travel through Angelus Oaks, Barton Flats, over Onyx Summit, Lake Williams, Erwin Lake, pass Sugarloaf turnoff. You’re now in Big Bear City. Hwy. 38 will make a left turn (West) and become Big Bear Blvd. Continue to the first signal light – Greenway (38).  Turn right (North). Greenway (Hwy. 38) will T-bone at Stop sign. Turn left (West) and continue on Hwy. 38 (aka North Shore Drive). Pass Greenway, Division Drive, Stanfield Cutoff, East Boat Launch,  Ranger Station and the Discovery Center.  About ½ mile past the Ranger Station and 2/10 of a mile past the Discovery Center you’ll see a  sign for Serrano Campground and Meadows Edge.  Turn left on to North Shore Lane. Enter Resort at the twin waterfalls. If you miss this turn continue West on Hwy. 38 for 1 mile. Turn left on North Shore Lane. Go about ½ mile to our Resort on the right. Enter Resort at the twin waterfalls.

 

FROM APPLE VALLEY, LUCERNE VALLEY, VICTORVILLE - Hwy. 18 & 38                                             
(7.5 miles of mountain driving – steep with 3 switchbacks. There is a 16% grade, you may want to unhook your tow vehicle)

Take Hwy. 18 East to where Highway 18 turns (South) in Lucerne Valley at the Union 76 Station. Pass the Mitsubishi Plant on the right. Hwy. 18 becomes Hwy. 38 / North Shore Drive in Big Bear City.  DO NOT TURN LEFT. Stay on Hwy 38 (West) aka North Shore Drive. Pass Greenway, Division Drive, Stanfield Cutoff, East Boat Launch, the Ranger Station and the Discovery Center.  About ½ mile past the Ranger Station and 2/10 of a mile past the Discovery Center look for the Serrano Campground and Meadows Edge sign.  Turn left at North Shore Lane. We are located a short distance on your left. Enter Resort at the twin waterfalls.  If you miss this turn continue West on Hwy. 38 for 1 mile to North Shore Lane. Turn left. We are about ½ mile on the right. Enter at the twin waterfalls.

 

FROM PALM SPRINGS,  INDIO - Hwys. 10, 62, 247, 18, 38
(7.5 miles of mountain driving, steep with 3 switchbacks.  There is a 16% grade, you may want to unhook your tow vehicle). You may also take the I-10 to the 330 via the 210 (see directions above from San Bernardino).

Take I-10 Freeway (West) to Highway 62 / Yucca Valley (North) OR you can take Indian Avenue (North) without getting on the freeway from downtown Palm Springs area. Look for the giant windmills. Indian Avenue dead-ends at Highway 62. Turn right (North) on Hwy. 62.  Continue through Morongo Valley  and Yucca Valley to Old Woman Springs Road (Hwy. 247). Turn left at signal light (West). Continue West to Camp Rock Road. (A good 30 minutes).  Turn left (South).  Camp Rock Road dead-ends at Highway 18.  Turn left (South). Continue uphill to Big Bear Lake.  At Greenway, Hwy. 18 becomes Hwy. 38 (aka North Shore Drive).  DO NOT TURN LEFT.  Pass Greenway, Division Drive, Stanfield Cutoff, East Boat Launch, the Ranger Station and the Discovery Center. FROM PASADENA, LA - Hwys 210, 330 18
(33 miles of mountain driving to the Big Bear Dam)

210 East to Hwy. 330 Mountain Resorts, then follow directions found above from San Bernardino, Riverside, Orange County, LA & Ventura.
